Elmira College introduced a multi-sport turf field in September 2024. This new turf is an exciting opportunity that not only enhances the College’s athletics, but also supports enrollment and retention efforts and supports mental and physical well-being on campus as identified in the College’s 2023-2028 Strategic Plan.
Your generous philanthropic support helps ensure that the project has the maximum positive impact on new student enrollment and retention for years to come. We are thrilled that the project will increase our athletic offerings – serving as the on-campus home field for men’s and women’s lacrosse, field hockey and men’s and women’s soccer and our new women's flag football team – and support mental and physical well-being on campus for all students through increased recreational and intramural opportunities.
